Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Rocketeers ("we", "us") operates this website (rocketee.rs) and the Rocketeers application (rocketeersapp.com). We are based in the Netherlands and handle personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are. Questions go to mark@rocketee.rs.
What we collect on this website
Waitlist email address. If you sign up to get notified about the launch, we store your email address. We use double opt-in: your address is only added after you confirm it via the verification link we email you. We use it solely to send you updates about Rocketeers, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, after which we delete your address.
Contact email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you.
Aggregate visitor analytics. We measure traffic (pages visited, referrers, country, device type) to understand what content is useful. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors or to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
Theme preference. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage) and never sent to us.
What we collect in the Rocketeers application
When the application launches, using it requires an account and involves data needed to provide the service: your name and email, and the credentials you connect (such as cloud provider API tokens and deploy keys). Provider credentials are stored encrypted, used only to perform the actions you ask Rocketeers to perform on your own accounts, and never shared with third parties. The application will carry its own, more detailed privacy terms at launch.
Legal bases
We process the waitlist and account data with your consent or to perform our contract with you, and analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site.
Who else touches your data
We use a small number of processors to run the service: hosting and content delivery, transactional email delivery, and analytics. Processors act on our instructions and do not use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
Retention
Waitlist addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or until launch communication has run its course. Unconfirmed signups that never complete double opt-in are deleted. Analytics is aggregate and not tied to you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to processing, and take your data elsewhere. Email mark@rocketee.rs and we'll sort it out. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note the new date at the top.
