How the integration works
Hetzner Cloud organises resources into projects. Create a project (or use an existing one), generate a read/write API token under Security → API tokens, and add it to Rocketeers. Rocketeers then provisions servers through the Hetzner Cloud API, injects SSH keys, applies firewall rules and installs the complete stack. Day-to-day management — updates, monitoring, deployments — runs through Rocketeers, while the server stays visible in your Hetzner console like any other.
Good to know
- Billing is per hour, capped at the monthly price, so test servers you delete after a day cost pennies.
- API tokens are scoped per project. If you separate clients or environments into projects, each needs its own token.
- Included traffic differs by location: European and US servers include far more than Singapore, where bandwidth beyond a smaller allowance is priced separately.
- Arm-based instances are among the cheapest ways to run typical PHP workloads, and modern Linux distributions support them out of the box.
