Resend
Email for developers, made simple.
Resend is what email looks like when it's rebuilt for modern developers: a minimal API, SDKs for every mainstream language, and React Email — its open-source library for building templates as components rather than table-soup HTML. Despite being the youngest provider in this list, its deliverability tooling is first-class. Connect your Resend API key and Rocketeers configures your sending domains and DNS, so transactional mail works without the plumbing.
What you get with Resend
- A clean, modern API that takes minutes to integrate, with official SDKs for the major languages.
- React Email support for building maintainable templates as components.
- Sending domains and their SPF and DKIM records configured automatically by Rocketeers.
- Deliverability insights and logs in a genuinely pleasant dashboard.
- A free tier that comfortably covers side projects and early-stage products.
How the integration works
Create an API key in the Resend dashboard and add it to Rocketeers, along with the domain each site should send from. Rocketeers registers the domain with Resend and publishes the SPF and DKIM records needed for verification — automatically where it also manages your DNS, or as copy-ready values where it doesn't. A DMARC record rounds out the authentication picture. Once the domain verifies, your sites send authenticated mail through Resend.
Good to know
- The free tier includes a monthly sending allowance with a daily cap — plenty for development and low-volume production, with paid tiers scaling from there.
- API keys can be scoped to sending-only and restricted to a single domain; use a scoped key per project.
- Verify a subdomain for sending to keep your root domain's reputation separate.
- Resend lets you choose the region your domain sends from — worth checking current options if data residency matters to you.
